Missouri Camping On The Elk River

We are located on 14 acres, with 1/4 mile of beachfront on the Elk River. We offer 14 air-conditioned cabins, primitive tent sites, water & electric RV sites with free Wi-Fi internet access at select areas in the campground. We also offer mixed site types for groups as we try to arrange it so your group can all camp together.

At our onsite camp store, we offer you the opportunity to come in, wake up to a steaming cup of coffee or a cappuccino while you shop for your camping necessities that were forgotten. We also offer pop, snacks, souvenirs, firewood, water shoes and more.

We have restrooms with hot showers. While you're away from the river you can enjoy games of volleyball and horseshoes. Shady Beach is dedicated to providing you a pleasant and relaxing stay, whether it's just the two of you on a romantic getaway or a large group. With owners living on the grounds year round, we are up front and always available to assist you and make your stay at Shady Beach a memorable one!

Shady Beach prides itself on offering outstanding Canoeing, Floating & Kayaking opportunities on the Elk River. The Elk River also provides great fishing for those that are interested in floating all day, and then catching dinner!
